vs. Rice

The preparation that goes in to each game is detailed.  I always marvel at how both Coach Peck and Coach Simon scout the other team.  I never knew how important the pregame drills were to coaches in basketball.  They watch the opposing teams pregame drills close, as if there’s a secret key to the win hidden in the layup line.  This picture was taken shortly after the team left the locker room to run through their pregame drills.  I took a few shots of Coach Simon sitting amongst the chairs in the locker room.

20081230_7251 Probably the most heated gave I’ve covered since joining the Findlay College Prep team.  All the emotion that comes with a championship game was there.  Coach Peck called it at halftime when Findlay was only up ten points.

In the second half, it felt as if the crowd reacted with every shot, foul and whistle in the game.  Most of the time I shoot video and stills near the Findlay bench, but this game I camped out near Rice’s bench to get some images.
